An Introduction to Beekeeping
Welcome to A Beekeepers Field Guide! My name is Ethan, and I will be your guide as you start your journey as a new beekeeper! In this course, you will learn the basics of beekeeping and the steps that you need to take to start your own beehive and successfully manage a colony. Beekeeping is a wonderful hobby that can teach you to appreciate and enjoy nature, not to mention you get and an unlimited supply of honey!
This course is broken up into three major sections:
The World of Bees: A guide covering the life of honeybees, what roles they play, their communication methods, and our history with them.
Diving Into Beekeeping: A deeper look into how to begin your journey as a beekeeper, and what you should expect starting out.
Growing as a Beekeeper: The necessary practices and methods to grow your skills as a beekeeper and how you can best serve your bees.
Pro Tip: The best way to go through this course is to take it a little bit at a time in bite sizes! Each video lesson is jam packed with info, and you should expect to pause, rewind, and rewatch individual lessons to get the most out of them!
